Tungsten Mosaic

The Tungsten Mosaic amplifier is based on the 5F1 design, delivering five watts with a 6V6 and nine watts with a 6L6 power tube. It has a single Volume knob, two inputs and comes standard with either an 8" or 12" Weber T12Q speaker.

Because this amp is cathode biased, swapping power tubes is just a matter of plugging them in. No rebiasing is ever necessary. Likewise, the preamp section will accept 12AU7, 12AY7, and 5751 tubes in addition to the provided 12AX7. This allows a great deal of control over your individual tone.

The Tungsten Mosaic retails for $750 and includes a 5Y3GT rectifier, one 6V6, one 12AX7, 8" Weber Alnico speaker and Mercury Magnetics transformers. This is a great practice amp for guitar, and it is pure Chicago blues with a harmonica.

The Tungsten 12" Mosaic comes with a custom Weber T12Q speaker, oversized Mercury output transformer and oversized cabinet for $900. Tighter, punchier bass response makes this my most popular amplifier for people who play and record at home.
